With so much competition for the hearts of our children, Word of Life is committed to building up a Christian foundation in our children that will help direct them for a lifetime. At Word of Life there is something for every child, and our aim is to instill in them the basic fundamentals of the Gospel so that they can begin building their relationship with God from an early age. In all of our children's classes, we have fun, we are loud, we play games, and we sing songs; but most importantly, we teach our children to pursue God with all that is in them.
Kidz World
Kidz World is a place specially designed for children in first through fifth grades. With exciting activities and lessons geared just for kids this age, Kidz World is a fantastic place where kids can have fun, learn the word of God, understand worship, and build a true relationship with their heavenly Father. When children come to Kidz World, they are equipped with the tools and support they need to help them grow as Christians.
jr Kidz World
Our four and five year-olds are off to a great start in jr Kidz World. Here children learn the same material as the Kidz World classes, but their lessons and activities are designed just for them. Our jr Kidz World classes offer crafts, games, fun activities, worship, and lessons that inspire and teach these little ones, helping them develop a love for God and for His word.
Kidz World TOO
In our Kidz World TOO class, children of all ages with special needs are nurtured and taught in a safe environment that is perfect for them. Here they receive personal attention and instruction from teachers who combine both passion and skill to work with our special-needs children, and our children are taught the same principles of faith and God's love as we offer in all of our Kidz World classes.
Kidz World Worship Team
We want to provide our children with every opportunity to use their gifts to glorify God, and one of the most effective ways that we do that is through our Kidz World Worship Team. Here, children not only learn the fundamentals of leading worship from a stage, but also they have instilled in them an understanding of a lifestyle of worship. During our rehearsals, children receive musical instruction in an environment of prayer.
Kidz World Touch
In addition to ministering to our children here at Word of Life, our Kidz World Ministry is committed to reaching out to children all over the world through our Kidz World Touch Ministry. Every three months, Kidz World Touch sends out boxes full of toys, clothes, and much-needed items to children throughout the world who are literally dying for a touch. During each quarter our Kidz World children bring in gifts and write prayers and letters to fill the boxes. What an awesome opportunity for children to learn early on about our responsibility to touch the world with the love of Jesus.
Purpose
This ministry for elementary-age boys is designed as a precursor to the youth guys' ministry Passage. Here, boys meet together in close age groups to learn about their purpose and learn how to find and live in the plan God has for their lives. We know that starting early is the best way for these boys to grow into confident, great men of God.
Young Image
This ministry for elementary-age girls lays the foundation young girls need in discovering how to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus. Created as a stepping stone into the youth girls' ministry True Image, Young Image teaches girls to develop values that reflect Christ in them in addition to teaching them how to depend on the love of God for comfort in navigating the rough waters that young girls this age often face. In Young Image, young girls begin building on the foundation of learning what their true image really is.
